CLASS SCHEDULE
Knitting Circles
Mondays 4 to 6 PM, Tuesdays 11 to 1 PM,
Saturdays 10 to 12 PM
Each knitter works on her own project, getting help as needed, in a sociable environment. Finish projects on a regular basis. Sessions are free with yarn purchased in our shop.
Beginning Knitting Class
$25 for 2 sessions Available upon request
Learn one of the most satisfying and productive crafts in two sessions. Learn knit, purl, cast on and bind off. From here you can do almost any pattern you desire. Yarn and needles purchased in shop prior to class.
Finishing Class
$40 for 2 sessions Available upon request
Completing a knitted garment is considered the most challenging part of the knitting. Join this class to take the guesswork out of it. Sewing in sleeves, side seams, pick up and knit the neck. Request a class whenever you are finished knitting the pieces.
Beginning Socks on 2 Circs
$25 registration fee Choose June 18th or 19th, 2pm to 4pm
Materials purchased separately.
4-Square Afghan taught by Ann Parrish
$50 for 5 weeks 1st evening Wednesday, July 14 from 4 to 6 PM
Make 4 special patterned squares to complete a lap blanket including sewing together and fringe.
Drop in the shop to see the samples. Learn new stitches. Good for any skill level.
UFO! HELP! Free for up to one hour.
All day, Friday, July 23 and Saturday, July 24

Seven things that make or break a sweater
$10 fee Available upon request
Learn these techniques and increase your confidence in knitting. Pick up and knit, different decreases and increases, reading patterns, fixing mistakes. We’ll discuss and demonstrate these for optimal benefit.
Purchase book in shop and bring some medium-weight, light-colored yarn on needles to practice these techniques.
Kid’s Knitting Camp
$60 includes materials June 28 to July 2, 10 – 11 AM
(REGISTER BY APRIL 30 FOR $55!)
Kids, ages 8-12, will knit a bear using 3 colors. Clare Waite, an accomplished private school teacher, will guide the class, giving the children a lifelong craft to enjoy. Space is limited, sign up early.
Tunisian Crochet
Monday July 19, from 4 to 6 PM.
Denise Interchangeable Knit and Crochet is partnering with It’s A Stitch for a new twist on an old technique. Taught by Barbara Krouter of Denise, learn 2 brand new stitches for this easy technique, sample new Denise interchangeable crochet hook kit, and complete a small usable project in class. All ages are encouraged to sign up. Good for mother/daughter or mother/son combos as well.
Fee includes class, pattern, fun and crochet book.
